So, if you told me a few years ago that I would be excited for my next visit to a little bar and grill in the middle of NC, I would've rolled my eyes and replied sarcastically; but not today! Small and unassuming, this bar and grill shares a building with several other businesses, but I feel like if it wasn't located in such a tiny town, it would definitely fill up a much larger spot. The atmosphere is quaint and the space is a bit small and a touch cramped, but inviting enough overall. The service is not big city service, but prompt and friendly enough to not leave you wanting long. (If I had a complaint, it would be that they've jammed enough tables into the place that staff doesn't have much room to loiter and fully observe the room at all times.) The food is the big selling point for me; everything that my dinner date and I have ordered, in our two visits, has been fantastic. I can't say that anything seems particularly fancy (it's a bar and grill!), but everything seems to be planned and prepared with care. On the original visit (shrimp and grits, and breakfast burger; good, but maybe not worth a regular 20 min drive out for us), we learned of their Friday and Saturday night sushi, and tonight got to partake; it was well worth the drive out. They do a really nice spicy marinade on their spicy tuna that is jjuusstt right (for someone who likes heat; less so for tolerators; roughly medium jalapeno hot), and oh so addicting.
Strip mall dining but very nice. Enjoyed the outdoors seating. Service & food both good. Nice for kids. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious.
I stopped by Latitudes twice in the past couple of weeks, and was pleasantly surprised. The first time I was just looking for a good burger, and ended up with exactly what I came for. The second time was on a Friday night, which happened to be a night they had a sushi chef? I was a bit skeptical, as it’s not their vibe, but the limited sushi menu looked good. The bartender assured me I would not be disappointed, and I certainly wasn’t! It was some of the best sushi I’ve had since moving to NC! Don’t believe me? Try it, the Fire roll was awesome! Good food, great service, and a nice casual place close to home.
If you have not stopped in to eat here, you are missing out!!! Ice cold beers and the pimento cheese dip is yummy!!! Highly recommend this place.
Great little place to eat tucked away right off busy 16. I think my son loves it more than the wife and I. We'll swing by after school some times and I know he's getting a milkshake. The Philly is good. Fries are good. Everything I have had there is good.
This place is so quaint! Food is absolutely delicious and I like the intimate feel inside. Try the BBQ sandwich on their main menu, it's made in-house. Enjoy!
Since recently moving to Denver, we have visited Latitudes Bar and Grill twice and both times it was a great experience. We have had the same server both times and she has been wonderful. We have ordered the Watermelon Salad special, the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Everything has been delicious and we will continue to come back. Highly recommend Latitudes Bar and Grill!
This place is FABULOUS! Excellent looking venue that appears to be recently remodeled. Great service with a smile, and the food is INCREDIBLE! My pineapple jalapeno margarita was perfectly shaken, and offered an explosion of amazing flavors with each sip. I had the BBQ plate and it was honestly some of the best barbecue pork I’ve had in months. The rest of our group loved their plates and drinks too. I found my new favorite bar and restaurant! WOW!
